Analog Devices Inc. ADM3050 Evaluation Board

Analog Devices Inc. ADM3050 Evaluation Board is designed to evaluate the ADM3050 isolated signal and power transceiver for CAN or CAN FD networks. This evaluation board does not need external components to operate the input and output functions. The ADM3050 evaluation board consists of onboard LDOs that supply power to the ADM3050 transceiver. This evaluation board operates in conjunction with the ADP7104 CMOS LDO and LTC6900 resistor set SOT-23 oscillator.

  • 2-layer PCB with low radiated emissions (passes EN 55022 Class B)
  • On-board LDOs for 6 V to 9 V supply:
    • Provides 5V to the ADM3050 VDD1 pin and VDD2 pin
  • Screw terminal connectors for the following:
    • 6V to 9V LDO (5V power supply to the VDD1 pin)
    • 1.8V to 5V direct power supply to VDD1 pin
    • 6V to 9V LDO (5V power supply to the VDD2 pin)
    • 5V direct power supply to VDD2 pin
    • TXD pin, RXD pin, CANH pin, and CANL pin signals
    • Divided PCB return planes for GND1 and GND2
  • SMA connectors for TXD pin and RXD pin signals
