Analog Devices Inc. ADPA7008 Power Amplifiers

Analog Devices Inc. ADPA7008 Power Amplifiers are GaAs, pHEMT, MMIC, 31dBm saturated output power (PSAT, 1W) distributed power amplifiers. The ADPA7008 includes an integrated temperature-compensated on-chip power detector that operates from 20GHz to 54GHz.

The ADI ADPA7008 Power Amplifiers provide 17.5dB of small signal gain, output power for 1dB compression (P1dB) of 30dBm with an excellent IP3 of 37dBm typical from 22GHz to 40GHz. These features make the ADPA7008 ideal for linear applications such as electronic countermeasure and instrumentation applications requiring 31dBm of efficient PSAT.

Furthermore, the RF input and outputs are internally matched, and dc blocked for ease of integration into higher-level assemblies. The device requires 1500mA from a 5V supply voltage (VDD).

The ADPA7008 is available in a 7mm × 7mm, ceramic leadless package with a heat sink [LCC_HS] that exhibits low thermal resistance and is compatible with surface-mount manufacturing techniques.
