
Analog Devices Inc. EVAL-ADXRS453Z & EVAL-ADXRS453Z-V Eval Boards
Analog Devices Inc. EVAL-ADXRS453Z and EVAL-ADXRS453Z-V Eval Boards are simple breakout boards that enable easy connection of the ADXRS453 Digital Output Gyroscope into an existing system. The EVAL-ADXRS453Z Eval Board features the ADXRS453 in a SOIC package for Yaw Rate (z-axis) sensing. The EVAL-ADXRS453Z-V Eval Board features the ADXRS453 in a Vertical-Mount Package (VMP) for Pitch, Roll, or Yaw axis sensing. In applications requiring multi-axis sensing, the innovative VMP greatly simplifies assembly by eliminating the need for additional boards mounted at 90°.Due to their small size and stiff PCBs, the EVAL-ADXRS453Z and EVAL-ADXRS453Z-V Eval Boards have minimal effect on the performance of the circuit or of the gyroscope, and thus these boards are ideal for evaluation of the ADXRS453 in an existing system. Note that the ADXRS453 requires digital communication via SPI.
The EVAL-ADXRS453Z or EVAL-ADXRS453Z-V Eval Boards do not include an external host processor, which is required for communication to the ADXRS453 Gyroscope. Firmware must be supplied externally by the user. If an evaluation kit that includes a processor is desired, Analog Devices Inc. offers the EVAL-ADXRS453Z-M Inertial Sensor Evaluation System.
